Located in Chia-nan Plain, Tainan, the ancient capital, is a beautiful city with rich culture and history. It’s also the birthplace for a famous university-- a school with “truthfulness” as her philosophy, which is devoted to cultivating professionals in the industrial fields that promote LOHAS. Her name is Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science (CNU).
Founded in 1966, CNU now has five colleges, Pharmacy and Science, Human Ecology, Humanities and Applied Information, Sustainable Environment, and Recreation and Health Management, with an enrollment of over 17,000 students. CNU is a “service-oriented” university of technology with the features of promoting LOHAS.
CNU has been recognized for her academic excellence in rich research outcome and industrial-academic collaborations. CNU also has developed strong international collaborations with more than 120 well-known universities around the world.
