The Undergraduate Degree Program of Children’s Industrial Services at Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science is the first of its kind in Taiwan. We provide professional cross-disciplinary training for students intending to embark on a career in children’s industry service. We offer modular, career-oriented courses, grounded in research on child psychology and early childhood education, embracing the fields of cultural and creative industries, multi-media applications, and informal learning and activities.
To develop students’ professional competence, our program focuses first on giving students a foundation in developmental psychology and children’s industry marketing. From there we offer modules in “Children’s Creative Industries” and “Children’s Broadcasting Industries,” providing foundational knowledge and skills in these fields. Industry internships are a required part of our program, and we have established excellent cooperative relationships with a large number of businesses within the field. With the all-round training we offer, our students are highly competitive in the employment market upon graduation.
