The Office of International and Cross-strait Affairs (OICA) was established in April 2017. Formerly known as the Center for International and Cross-Strait Exchange Affairs, it was set up in September 2010 to implement the international and cross-strait humanities, education, academic exchanges and cooperation between enterprises and universities. It has been a secondary unit of the administrative organization, positioned under the secretary’s office, and directly reports to the secretary general of CNU. In response to the increasing importance of overseas and cross-strait recruitment and international engagement, the school has upgraded the Center to become a level one administrative unit, the Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs since 2017.
The Office of International and Cross-strait Affairs (OICA) serves as a pipe passage and catalyst for Chia Nan University's (CNU) internationalization and global engagement. Our mission is to promote and enhance CNU’s international exchanges and collaborations. OICA works closely with CNU's academic and administrative units with the following responsibilities:
