Directions to Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science

By Air

CNU is approximately five minutes from Tainan Airport by taxi.

By Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR)

Take the Taiwan High Speed Rail to Tainan THSR Station. CNU can be reached by two methods:

• Take a regular train from Shalun Station (which can be accessed directly from the THSR station) to Bao-An Station. From Bao-An Station it is a 20-minute walk or five-minute taxi ride to CNU.
• Take a taxi directly to CNU. The trip takes about 12 minutes.

By Train

• From Kaohsiung: Take a northbound “local train” from Kaohsiung Railway Station to Bao-An Station. From Bao-An Station it is a 20-minute walk or five-minute taxi ride to CNU.
• From the north (Taipei, Hsinchu, Taichung, Chiayi, etc.): Take a southbound express train to Tainan Railway Station. Then take a southbound “local train” to Bao-An Station (about seven minutes). From Bao-An Station it is a 20-minute walk or five-minute taxi ride to CNU.

By Intercity Coach or Bus

• From Kaohsiung City: Take Kaohsiung Bus Company Route No 8046 from Kaohsiung Railway Station to CNU.
• From Tainan City: Take Tainan City Bus Red Line No. 3 from Tainan Railway Station to CNU.   

By Car

• Via Provincial Highway No. 1
  • From Tainan Railway Station, head south along Beimen Road. CNU is located on the left, about 20 minutes down this road.
  • From Kaohsiung, head north along Minzu Road. CNU is located on the right, about 50 minutes down this road.

• Via National Highway No. 1 (Zhong Shan Highway)

Exit at Expressway No. 86 (marked Tainan, Guanmiao), and head west, towards Tainan. After about five minutes, take the exit marked “Tainan, Hunei, Luzhu”. After exiting the expressway, turn left on to Provincial Highway No. 1. CNU is about five minutes down this road, on the left.

• Via National Highway No. 3

Exit at Expressway No. 86 (marked Tainan, Guanmiao), and head west, towards Tainan. After about 10 minutes, take the exit marked “Tainan, Hunei, Luzhu”. After exiting the expressway, turn left on to Provincial Highway No. 1. CNU is about five minutes down this road, on the left.
