Excellent Performance

  • From 2023 to 2024, CNU received nearly 20 million subsidies from University Social Responsibility Practices Programs (USR).
  • From 2023 to 2027, CNU received more than 100 million subsidies from the second phase of the Higher Education Sprout Project by Ministry of Education (MOE).
  • In 2013, CNU Department of Pharmacy was ranked 4th among famous departments in universities of technology and science.
  • In 2022, CNU Student Association of Pharmacy and Wind Instrument Club were respectively granted honorable mention award in the National College Student Association Selection and Observation Activity.
  • In 2022, according to Foresight Enterprise, CNU was ranked first among the medical and health care category in universities of science and technology in Taiwan.
  • CNU received double recognition in 2022 from the Small and Medium Business Division in Department of Economic Affairs for outstanding creative organization and outstanding manager award.
  • From 2021 to 2022, CNU was awarded the subsidy from Ministry of Education for two consecutive years for the STEM field and female R&D talent cultivation program in colleges and universities.
  • In 2021, CNU was ranked fourth among the universities of science and technology in the south by Vision Magazine.
  • From 2020 to 2022, CNU was awarded the three embryonic projects of the University Social Responsibility Practice Program (USR Program) by Ministry of Education, and established the USR-Hub Promotion Office (with a total subsidy of NT$10 million), receiving a total subsidy of NT$30 million over the three years.
  • From 2020 to 2022, CNU won 4 awards from the U-start Innovation and Entrepreneurship Program and U-start Original Yang Program of the Youth Development Administration of the Ministry of Education, and received a total of NT$2 million in entrepreneurial funds.
  • In 2021, CNU was honored as the excellent university by Ministry of Education in promoting the prevention and control of student drug abuse for the sixth consecutive year and the 12th consecutive time.
  • In 2019, CNU was touted as the only outstanding university accredited by the International Joint Accreditation of Taiwan and Japan (iJAS).
  • CNU has been selected by MOE as the only Recycled Water Production Line and Talent Cultivation Base in Taiwan since 2019.

  • CNU has been actively promoting international academic exchanges and has established sister-schools with more than 255 internationally renowned universities.

  • CNU won both the men's 3-player and 4-player tournaments at the 2022 National Rattan 2nd Ranking Tournament.
  • CNU won the Gold Medal for artisan bread and Bronze Medal for fine desserts at the 2021 Canada International Gastronomy and Tourism Competition.
  • CNU won six championships in the 2021 International Cultural and Creative Cup Design Competition.

  • In the 2022 National College Darts League, CNU won the championship and runner-up of the men's individual group, the runner-up of the men's team group, the runner-up and third place of the men's doubles group; the women's individual group champion; the women's team group and doubles group champions.
  • CNU won the runner up in the cup testing group of the third Kunshan Cup National Coffee Competition in 2022.
  • CNU won a Bronze Medal in the 2022 WACS Culinary Arts YoungChef Team Training Simulation Competition and Cross-School Exchange.
